IPPC
IPPC – Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control – consists of a set of measures to prevent pollution, reduce emissions to air, water and soil, limit the generation of waste and ensure its recovery and disposal. IPPC is a method of managing and monitoring the environmental impacts of industrial activities.
An integrated permit is issued by the Slovak Environmental Inspectorate. This procedure provides for coordinated authorisation and conditions for activities at existing and new installations.
