Air protection

Does your company emit emissions into the air? Act No. 146/2023 Coll. on Air Protection and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts divides sources of air pollution into stationary sources and mobile sources of air pollution.

Stationary sources of air pollution are technological units, warehouses and landfills of fuels, raw materials and products, landfills, quarries and other areas with the possibility of steaming, burning, which pollute or may pollute the air.

Mobile sources are equipment which uses an internal combustion engine for its movement or for the propulsion of its own machine parts, subject to technical requirements in terms of pollutant emissions for road motor vehicles or non-road machinery.

A portable source is a stationary source which is of a purpose-built nature and is operated temporarily on one site for a maximum period of 36 months, or a technical unit which is part of a mobile source which introduces emissions of a pollutant into the air, if it introduces emissions into the air other than those from an internal combustion engine.
